Reader to Reader, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to bringing books, free of charge, to under-resourced school libraries and public libraries across the United States.

Over 2 mil. books/computers shipped to rebuild school libraries devastated by Hurricanes Katrina/Sandy, and other disasters

Over $3.5 mil. of books, computers and school supplies shipped to Navajo Nation, Hopi Nation, Red Lake Lake Nation, Fort Berthold Indian Reservation, and other areas serving Native peoples.

Over 600 under-resourced schools across the US have received books from the Reader to Reader Book Donation Program.

Blueprint for Success Program brings college test prep/essay writing workshops to low-income students in MS, AZ and NM.

Major initiatives in Bridgeport, Connecticut; Louisiana, rural MS, Det, MI; MA; ME; the Navajo Reservation; and Compton, CA.

Rural community library initiatives in MS, NM, and TX.

All books given free of charge, including shipping.

Over 1,200 students across the US participate in our Read, Think, Share mentoring program.

Family Literacy Programs for immigrant parents and teen mothers in Holyoke and Springfield, MS.

Lloyd Wescoat is the founder and owner of Grandpa’s Barn, an independent bookstore on the shores of Lake Superior in Copper Harbor, Michigan. Lloyd’s collection of picture books cannot be beat and little vacationers flock to her store. Lloyd hosts author signings during the annual Art in the Park and organizes several book clubs for adult readers at her store and at the public library in Calumet. She is also a co-owner of Mudminnow Press.
